A day as an Operations Excellence Manager in Cirtec Medical at Lowell, MA.
You will improve how we work and use technology to make our organization more efficient. You'll create and put into action plans, methods, and tools to streamline our operations, boost decision-making based on data, and make sure all our departments perform at their best.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Key areas of expertise are:
Operational Excellence Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy aligned with company goals.
Process Improvement: Identify and streamline processes to reduce costs and eliminate inefficiencies.
Business Intelligence: Collect, analyze, and present data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.
Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across departments.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments to implement process improvements.
Change Management: Champion a culture of continuous improvement and guide teams in adopting new processes.
Technology Implementation: Assess and oversee the implementation of technology solutions for efficiency and data analysis.
Reporting: Generate regular reports and dashboards for senior leadership communication.
Budget Management: Manage the budget for operations excellence initiatives.
Compliance: Ensure operational improvements comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering from a 4 year college or university.
6 to 8 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Be adaptable to accept new changes in the field of lean manufacturing and should remain abreast with the latest developments happening in that field.
Extremely organized and should have the ability to identify problems and resolve them quickly.
Strong oral and written communication skills with excellent planning and implementation skills would prove to be an advantage.
Must be self-driven with positive attitude and should be result oriented.
Must have exceptional communication skills and work well with people.
Excellent analytical skills combined with negotiation skills.
Good to have:
Six -Sigma Black belt preferred.
Business intelligence experience with database and visualization tools like PowerBi preferred.
Advanced Excel experience preferred.
