Position Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for inventory control, job order material usage reconciliation, job
closings, and inventory reconciliation. Will coordinate with purchasing and production to ensure the
inventory is accurate and appropriate to meet demands. Will perform duties within the production and
inventory control department as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Review jobs requiring materials via the ERP system.
Issue materials to assigned jobs physically and in ERP system.
Return materials from completed jobs physically and in ERP system.
Perform cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory as required.
Communicate any material shortages to appropriate departments as needed.
Receive incoming materials and prepare outgoing shipments.
Assist with packing & shipping, clean room kitting and warehouse operations.
Ensure materials are stocked in the appropriate quantities to support production.
Maintain and monitor manual or computerized inventory control system for raw materials, tooling,
consumables, and finished stock.
Investigate discrepancies.
Establish and maintain a safe and healthy working environment in accordance with OSHA
requirements.
Represent the department in a positive and professional manner.
Reliable, consistent, and punctual attendance is an essential function of the job.
Complies with company, quality, and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Must Have:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent from an accredited institution is required.
Must be able to frequently lift up to 15 pounds and/or move and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50
pounds.
No experience required, 1 year manufacturing, shipping or material handling experience preferred.
Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) programs and tools.
Strong command of the English language (speak, read & write) with good communication skills.
Ability to interact with internal and external customers in a positive and professional manner.
Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to obtain forklift certification (as needed by location).
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
